Electronics Department

Our electronics department certifies: multimeters, oscilloscopes, clamp meters, tachometers and hipots. Our capabilities also include gauss and humidity meters. We check all batteries before we start certification testing and replace any that indicate low voltage. If you send test leads along with your equipment we will clean and check them.

A computer test procedure is written and customized for every model we test, sometimes, if we have never tested your model equipment, we may ask for specification information from the manual that came with your meter. Data temperature loggers can also be certified, but we need specific information on any input probes and channels used.

We do not certify any avionics or navigation equipment for aircraft. We also are not setup to test or certify NDT equipment.

Some manufacturers will not release any information on their equipment and force you to return the equipment to them for service. In that event we will contact you about returning the piece of equipment to you untested. We will not charge you if we can’t certify your tool.

All of our calibration equipment is calibrated regularly with all measurements completely traceable to NIST. We use manufacturer tolerance specification to certify your tools, but we can use any special tolerance you may specify. You will always receive the highest level of customer service when you send your equipment to Tool Testing Lab.
