Dimensional and Gage Calibration
Precision Dimensional Calibration in a Controlled Laboratory Environment
Tool Testing Lab performs its most accurate dimensional work inside a tightly controlled gage lab. The temperature is maintained at 20.0°C ± 0.25°C, which aligns with industry best practices for dimensional calibration.
Using Grade 1 gage blocks, comparators, and high-precision reference standards, our technicians can achieve uncertainties of a few millionths of an inch. This controlled environment allows us to deliver repeatable, traceable measurements for even the most demanding dimensional instruments.

Why Dimensional Calibration Matters
Dimensional tools directly affect accuracy in machining, quality control, inspection, and manufacturing. Even minor drift or wear can lead to scrap, rework, or audit issues. TTL’s calibrated process ensures you receive reliable data, documented uncertainty, and clear As-Found and As-Left results for every tool.
All calibrations are performed using NIST traceable standards, with many methods covered under our ISO 17025 accreditation.
