Pressure Department

Our pressure department certifies vacuum gauges and pressure gauges up to 15000 PSI. We use dry nitrogen for all testing of pressure gauges up to 6000 PSI. Water may be used for testing above 6000 PSI. Gauges can be tested using any readout such as PSI, INH20, BARS, MBAR, DYNE, TORR and many others. Hydraulic Press pressure gauges which usually read out in TONS PER SQ. IN. can also be certified, but we need you to tell us the piston size of cylinder ram. We can test both digital and analog gauges.

Altimeters, Airspeed and Vertical-Speed indicators are certified for use in aviation ground test equipment and manufacturing plants.

Oxygen gauges can be specially cleaned, bagged and an Oxygen Service only label installed on gauge, an Oxygen label seal will also be installed on the plastic storage bag. This service has an extra charge because of the expensive fluid and time required to clean these gauges.

All of our calibration equipment is calibrated regularly with all measurements completely traceable to NIST. We use manufacturer tolerance specification to certify your tools, but we can use any special tolerance you may specify. You will always receive the highest level of customer service when you send your equipment to Tool Testing Lab.
