Frequently Asked Questions: Temperature

• Can you certify infrared temperature guns?

  Yes, we have calibrators that will certify many different infrared temperature guns.  Depending on the manufacturer and the design we may or may not have adjustment capabilities.

• Can you certify temperature data loggers?

  Yes, you must let us know what model probes you are using and we recommend you send your probes to us with the instrument.

• How many points do you check on a thermometer?

  We normally check glass and metal thermometers at three test points. Electronic temperature meters are tested at multiple points using the appropriate probe. If you require special additional test points please let us know.  Additional charges may apply to additional points or other special requests.
