Shipping & Receiving Department

Our receiving department has the first contact with every tool we test. We check your paperwork for any special instructions. If you ask for expedited service, we process this order first and place the tools in a specially marked container and a special flag is set in our database to alert everyone involved. All tools are entered in our computer database and assigned a control number that ties the tool and customer together. Then, a receiving report and worksheets are printed out for each order. Next a Quality Control Inspector does the first of many quality control checks by comparing the model, serial number, and other details on our paperwork against your tools and purchase order.

If any discrepancy is found between the tools listed on your paperwork and the tools we received, you will be called immediately. We have you direct us on the action you would like to take.

Our shipping department is the last of many quality checks performed on your tools. Each tool is checked against the shipping invoice and certification paperwork for correct serial number. Once an order has been checked each tool is individually scanned by barcode as it is placed in the shipping container. We send a packing list with each order so you know what tools were scanned by our shipping technician.

If you have sent tools to us in a special container we make every effort to return certified tools in your container. There is a daily pickup by UPS and FedEx Monday through Friday at our lab between 5 & 6 pm. This gives us enough time to process all our daily shipping. All tracking numbers are added to our database so we can quickly locate your tools if needed. We do not insure packages unless you request additional insurance.
